Why is planting trees so important in 2022?

By planting trees we help fight climate change.

The simple truth in 2022 is that there are not enough trees left on our planet to consume the carbon emissions produced by human activities daily.

The rough estimate scientists have come up with is that humanity needs to plant a total of 1 trillion trees in order to be able to convert the carbon dioxide we produce every day from fossil fuels into oxygen and energy storing carbohydrates.

Scientists believe that if humanity keeps planting new trees every year there is still a chance to stop the catastrophic consequences of climate change.

Trees store carbon dioxide and use it to grow which is not the case with other plants we know.

The severe deforestation we witnessed in recent years caused by natural fires has contributed greatly to the issue of global warming and only drastic measures have the power to save us.

Climate change is a long-term problem we’re facing and the measures we take should also be providing long-term solutions.

More and more people come together in recent years and with the power of their joint efforts, they plant trees in order to reduce the large quantities of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere and consequently lower the impact of greenhouse gasses worldwide.

Why not become one of them?
